Supervision
I am a Certified Clinical Supervisor through MCBAP and an
Approved Clinical Supervisor through the Center for Credentialing & Education.
I meet the requirements to supervise Limited Licensed Counselors in the State of Michigan.
Individual Supervision
Michigan Limited License Counselors (LLC) must have 100 supervised working hours completed in no less than a two-year period to apply for full LPC licensure.
Group Supervision
Group supervision is offered to LLCs and is supplemental to individual supervision. Group supervision is an opportunity to connect with other counselors and to learn from one another. Groups will consist of 3-5 LLCs and are held once or twice monthly depending on the preference of the LLCs in the group.
Requirements to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan
* Obtain your Limited License Counselor (LLC). You must have this for any supervision hours to count towards your required hours.
* 3,000 working hours of providing services in a mental health practice. These hours must be completed within 2 years from receiving your LLC.
* 100 face-to-face hours with your LLC supervisor, up to 25 hours may be virtual.
* Human Trafficking training once before the license is issued.
