Individual Therapy
Individual therapy (sometimes called "psychotherapy" or "counseling") is a process where a person works with a trained therapist one-on-one within a safe, caring, and confidential environment. Together, we explore feelings, beliefs, and behaviors. We work through challenging or influential memories. We identify aspects of your life you want to change. We work to gain a better understanding of one's self and others, set personal goals, and work toward the desired change.

There are many reasons why a person chooses to seek therapy, including overcoming trauma, dealing with life changes and challenges, having depression or anxiety, or just to work on developing and pursuing personal goals.

Assessments

IPHW provides assessments for a variety of issues including: substance abuse, drug and alcohol addiction and mental health assessments. This is provided to anyone who is motivated to change but struggling with substance abuse issues, drug and alcohol addiction problems and even mental health concerns like depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and low self-esteem.

Your initial online assessment will focus on the key aspects of your life, including your relationships with others, work situation, your finances, your emotional and physical health and especially your thoughts and feelings about yourself, about your self-image and self-esteem.

The substance abuse, drug and alcohol addiction and mental health assessments are conducted in a secure, online video chat session. They are all completely private and confidential.
