Ecotherapy: Benefits of Nature
Nature provides healing benefits. Studies have found a deficit of nature can lead to mood-related struggles, low self-esteem, increased depression and anxiety, and an overall lack of wellness.
As an ecotherapist, I enjoy using nature as an ally when providing therapeutic services. This includes therapy in a natural setting such as, camping, a park, walk-and-talk, sand-tray, and horticulture type surroundings. I have created a mini-retreat to incorporate my love of nature into a multi-day therapy retreat. This is for individuals, families, couples, and anyone who feels they need to reconnect to nature while working on some inner struggles. For more information, please contact me.
